We all know we need local trucks to deliver the food we eat and the items we buy from our local businesses.

 

What we don’t need is Labor’s plan to turn Cross Road into Adelaide’s next heavy freight trucking route. 

The Liberal plan is to build a freight bypass.

Unfortunately, the Albanese Labor government axed the Liberal’s $200 million Truro Bypass, the first step to building a new trucking route.

This bypass would divert an estimated 60-70 per cent of heavy freight trucks away from our hills, Cross Road, Glen Osmond Road and Portrush Road.
